My dear students(IX)

搭乘高鐵北上時，驚覺這季桐花已開滿山，路旁飄落的花瓣，引我想像著四月雪的美景，冬過了，春來了，而島嶼南方日漸回升的溫度似乎暗示著我們，夏天也不遠了！
這是個時間流逝地相當快的ㄧ年，不知不覺地，第一次基測倒數的日曆已來到30，一個月，好個關鍵數字，不太能明確瞭解你們每人心中此刻的想法，但回想當年自己面對大考的情形，想快點解脫卻又怕準備不足的心情，應該與你們某些人是一樣的吧！
看著你們在此關鍵時刻搖擺不定的樣子，想起自己面對選擇的心情，過了這麼多年，做過很多次人生的選擇，我其實是無法想像若當年不花那麼多心思在課業上，現在的我會有什麼樣的改變，也無法知道選擇父母心中的理想志願而放棄自己的願望，生活會有多大的不同，也許人生就是這麼難以預測，所以，才更需要把握每一次機會，好好面對每一次的選擇，盡力而為吧！
此刻，總覺得該好好對你們說些什麼，但卻不知從何說起，更不想顯現出是在強逼你們，我想，最簡單且最直接地，希望你們好好把握這一個人生的機會，勇敢接受挑戰，即使這是個殘忍的戰場，但勝負未揭曉前，人人都是有希望成為贏家的，相信自己的能力，繼續努力提昇自己的實力，別輕易言敗！祝福大家都能如願考上心目中理想的學校！ 04/23/2009

八里左岸天氣晴

豔陽高掛 涼風掩面 我在八里度過悠閒的周末時光
關於八里的記憶好像一直停留在搭了渡船過河的小村落
相對河另依邊的淡水 八里當時沒有吸引我太多的駐足停留
多年後再度造訪 正如人事已非 小村落景色也已大幅改變
觀光氛圍濃厚 彷彿想複製另一個淡水般的河岸景觀
只有入夜後 木造人行道上 遠離熱鬧八里街 才有不同的特色
看著昏暗夜色中 情侶依偎的畫面 彷彿回到島嶼南方
西子灣旁 蘿蔔坑中 屬於年輕歲月的青澀情事

偶然碰上的好天氣 我在八里左岸 重塑另ㄧ段河岸記憶

桐花開

有些逃離的感覺 搭上高鐵離開還堆積著一堆工作的城市
沒特別的旅遊計畫 更沒特定的旅遊目標
但一路上 窗外不斷變換的景色 仍讓繃緊的心情輕鬆不少
而 終於和這一季的桐花相遇的剎那 是雀躍歡喜的
趕上了 在這忙的差點情緒崩潰的一年 終於能偷個空
欣賞著滿山桐花 在飄落的四月雪中 寫下這一季的旅行記事

島嶼南方 春日午後 卻有如盛夏已到般的悶熱
雖早已有預感 但期待的結果落空 卻仍不免落寞
青春的臉龐 該是帶著笑意的啊
但堆積如山的書本 日漸增多的講義試卷
難以承受的沉重壓力 奪去了屬於青春的活力
孩子 熬過了最痛苦的階段 終會嘗到成功的甜美

提不起勁的Blue Monday 島嶼南方高掛著曬得人發昏的太陽
悶悶的天氣 悶悶的氛圍 悶悶地趕著完成週末該完成的進度
大考將至 曾經走過那段歲月的我豈會不明瞭你們的苦悶
但 孩子 這段過程你得自己經歷 旁人只能陪伴鼓勵加油
稍作休息後 調整好步調 請勇敢地繼續前進

Easter Sunday

友人去度Good Friday的假期 才驚覺Easter Sunday來了
陌生卻帶點熟悉的節日 在我感覺卻是同樣悠閒歡樂的樣子
課堂裡紙上談兵了好多關於Easter的訊息 Easter Rabbit, Eggs Hunt
台下聽課的卻仍ㄧ付興趣缺缺的樣子 文化差異太大 有些難以想像
實際參與可能有效點 也許下回該換個方式談談Easter會比較好吧

暖冬催促著百花綻放 春的腳步提早來到 才稍不注意 窗外已是ㄧ片翠綠
島嶼南方 城市邊緣 如同過往迎接季節的轉變
但步入大考倒數計時的你們 卻無心欣賞窗外景色的變換
我像是個奪去你們享受青春美好的掠奪者 把你們困在教室ㄧ隅
心懷愧疚地 努力替你們紀錄屬於這個季節的美好 這仍是個充滿希望朝氣的春天 我始終相信

A smile

Love

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return,
but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage
to let that person know how you feel.
Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people
before meeting the right one
so that when we finally meet the right person,
we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

Love is when you take away the feeling, the passion,
and the romance in a relationship and find out you still care for that person.
A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you,
only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be
and you just have to let go.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with,
never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best
conversation you've ever had.
But it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never assurance that they'll love you back!
Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart
but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours.

There are things you'd love to hear that you would never hear
from the person whom you would like to hear them from,
but don't be so deaf as not to hear it

from the one who says it from his heart.

Never say good-bye if you still want to try -
never give up if you still feel you can go on -
never say you don't love a person anymore if you can't let go.
Love comes to those who still hope although they've been disappointed,
to those who still believe although they've been betrayed,
to those who still need to love although they've been hurt before,
and to those who have the courage and faith to build trust again.

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone,
an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone -
but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
Don't go for looks; they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile
because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.

There are moments in life when you miss someone so much
that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!
Hope you dream of that special someone.
Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go;
be what you want to be, because you have only one life
and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

Always put yourself in others' shoes.
If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.
A careless word may kindle strife;
a cruel word may wreck a life;
a timely word may level stress;
a loving word may heal and bless.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched,
and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance
of people who have touched their lives.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear.
The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past,
you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

A Gift of Love

Sometimes we close our eyes and just listen to the echoes of our hearts.
We all fall in love and there are times when we love so much
that we lose ourselves in our emotions.

More often than not, we wonder why there are loves that grow,

and loves that grow cold.
We would start to search for answers and

try to find where love has gone wrong.
But in the end, we find ourselves where we started

for we cannot question love when it has its own reasons.
Love will always be as it always has been....

silent, mysterious and deeply profound.

Many of us believe that love is forever, that love never dies,

only to be disillusioned in the end

when we find our hands empty and our hearts longing.
We mistakenly have looked at love as a needto be fulfilled.
But love is a gift given to us.
We should not hold it in our hands

for we may never find the strength to let it go when it decides to leave.
We should only embrace its warmthand glow while it last

and then freely open our arms when its time to say good-bye.

When we fall in love, we don't want that feeling to end

for it is everything we are, everything we wanted to be.
We pray that love will stay and grow in our hearts.
But if it doesn't then we should never let our lives be taken by it,

for life should not end where heartaches begin.

There is always a reason why we have to move on.
When we have to say good-bye to the feeling we wanted to stay forever,

let us not wave our hands with a heavy heart.
For love will have to set its wings free and find the place where it belongs.
We may have lost it but then again, when we close our eyes

and listen to the echoes of our hearts,

we will hear that feeling resounding silently forever.

Then we'll know that love never left us,

for the good that we have become because of love will always stay.
Love will always be there, reminding us that we should be thankful and happy

not because we have lost love, but because, for once in our lives,

that feeling called love lived in our hearts and made us happy.

Letting go

To let go doesn't mean to stop caring, it means I can't do it for someone else.

To let go is not to cut myself off, it's the realization that I can't control another.

俗謂「吃的苦中苦，方為人上人」，越到最後關頭，難免越覺得深沉的無力感，尤其眼見這麼多書要念，這麼多題目要寫，這麼多的進度待完成，有時不免心慌，但切記「真正的考驗不是第一里路，而是旅程最後一里路。」咬緊牙關撐過去，正如比賽中最後勝利者的得勝關鍵除了原有的實力外，很多是靠著一股毅力和意志力和相信自己一定能勝利的信念來支撐自己完成比賽任務，所以你也要相信自己能夠達成這項艱鉅的任務，千萬別怕苦，苦一時總比苦一輩子好吧！
